guiding riders away from "crunch" zone.
Installed on 20,000+ escalators world-wide the Adams Safety Strip virtually eliminates side-of-step
accidents caused when passengers stand too close to the edge of the steps. The friction that develops
when shoes, body parts, or loose clothing comes into contact with the side skirt may draw those objects
into the gap that exists between the escalator step and the side skirt.
