LifeJacket Saves Lives!

Adams patented hydraulic elevator safety system prevents a car from falling when the cylinder fails or in the presence of another system failure.

The LifeJacket's arms are held in an open position by hydraulic oil pressure while the car is running normally. Any uncontrolled downward movement detected by the system will cause the LifeJacket to close around the plunger and prevent the elevator from moving in the downward direction.

• Installs directly above the cylinder head
• Prevents the elevator from moving in the downward direction in the event of a catastrophic failure
• Detects over-speed and pressure-system failures
• Fits on hydraulic elevators with piston diameter from 3.50" up to 8.625"
